The Glides 3-piece modular shoe has been meticulously crafted with repair and recycling in mind. Its versatility and customisability offer boundless opportunities for personalisation and expressing individual style.

Focused on recyclability, each component is carefully made from upcycled materials, ensuring both durability and sustainability. Our modular design promotes longevity and waste reduction, contributing to a circular economy for a more environmentally friendly future.

Bid farewell to non-recyclable footwear. Constructed without glue or stitching, every part of our modular shoe is recyclable and easily interchangeable.

Outsole:

At the core of our craftsmanship lies our soles. Rather than creating unnecessary tooling for a new outsole design, we engineered the Hades sole protector to seamlessly integrate into our fully modular shoe. This innovative design allows the removable outsole to also function as a protective layer for your existing trainers. In the assembly of the modular shoe, the rivet locators have been pierced (a task easily accomplished with household tools) to facilitate attachment of the shoe uppers.

Shoe Uppers:

Crafted from salvaged roofing rubber, this repurposed material showcases industrial work patterns that narrate an ethical tale of its previous life and its rescue from the brink of disposal. Typically destined for landfills during building renovations, this leather-like material is not only durable and aesthetically pleasing but also guilt-free.

Slipper:

In collaboration with Nina Brostrøm Laumann, we proudly introduce the dead stock leather slipper. Transformed from reclaimed leather waste sourced from Yodom, these slippers are both comfortable and uniquely stylish, thanks to innovative footwear pattern making techniques. They feature an oversized tongue inspired by 90s football boots and folded leather reminiscent of ear cartilage, peeking through the layers of the modular shoe.
